« whatever gifts we have received to contribute to the building of the Kingdom, we must never become proud of them. Instead, we should use them with simplicity and humility for the glory of God. »
Is my lamp truly burning? Is my faith nourished by prayer and the Word of God? Do I take care of my inner life, or am I satisfied with merely appearing religious?
What are our hearts overflowing with? What fills our cup? Is it justice, mercy, and faithfulness? Or, on the contrary, envy, resentment, pride, and indifference?
We must have our own personal experience of God. We must taste the goodness of the Lord, His mercy, and His power. It is through these experiences that true faith is born.
